Juan Pablo Renzi (artist, Santa Fe / Argentina)

Juan Pablo Renzi (born in 1940-1992 in Casilda, Santa Fe, Argentina) studied Painting at the Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes de Pergamino and Biochemistry at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
After his early works of expressionist painting, he later worked with conceptual approaches, performances, multimedia-installations and video. He taught as Professor for Painting at the School of Fine Arts “Ernesto de la Carcova” in Buenos Aires (1985-88). Group and solo exhibitions (selection): Museo de Arte Moderno, Mexico (1990); San Pablo Biennale, Brazil (1989); Museo de Arte Latinoamericano, Maldonado, Uruguay (1980); Camden Art Centre, London (1970).
